Kara Sigle is the founder and chef of Nostalgic Catering. Over the years her travels have
sparked an intrigue for food, culture, and wine. She was formally trained in Classic French
Cuisine at Kendall University in Chicago, Illinois, but finds her style is geared towards
hearty home-style cooking with class. She spent a number of years in Northern California
and has had the privilege of interning with some of the most remarkable chefs in the world.
Hill Family, proud owners of Hill Family Estate Winery, has also been a wonderful influence
in her cooking and wine preferences. Her goal is to create memories from the past, present,
and future with those around her. To Kara, breaking bread with others is like a sacred moment
that cannot be duplicated. Nostalgia Catering offers a unique menu consisting of a variety of
scrumptious teasers, gourmet to go appetizers; specialty infused and confused entrees, splendid
side dishes, incredible salads, and mom's succulent deserts. She realizes that a number of people
have an idea of what they want and she will do her best to create it regardless of what she has on
